Rock A Thon 2024

The 2024 Rock A Thon event was a huge success! It was a hot June day, but with plenty of shade, hydration, cooling ice pops, and entertainment throughout the day, our rockers completed their goal to raise funds to support Dementia initiatives at Morningstar Living. The event generated more than $12,500 for this important cause. This year’s Rock A Thon honored the memory of Vic Peckenschneider who was instrumental in orchestrating this annual fundraiser. The Rockers took up position at 10am on The Longest Day, June 20th, and rocked right through until 4pm. We were entertained by Barb Abel on piano, with Bridget McGinn and Lisa Wiedecke on vocals. We were joined in the afternoon by the talented Lorenzo. Thank you to all our rockers, volunteers and supporters…you ROCK!
